He is survived by his wife, Bette; twin sons, Brent R. and Kent J., J.D.; and daughter, Brenda.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jessie Bowles.
He was a U. S. Navel cadet, and became a Marine fighter pilot during WORLD WAR II. He also flew a Corsair on numerous combat missions during the KOREAN WAR. He retired from active reserve duty with the rank of Major.
Burial: Lindquist Washington Heights Memorial Park Cemetery, 4500 Washington Blvd., in Ogden, Utah.
