Visitation for Verne T. Brassard, 86, of Kankakee and formerly of Momence, will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Cotter Funeral Home in Momence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Larry Gattis will officiate.
Burial will be in the Momence Cemetery.
Memorials may be made for the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Brassard died Wednesday March 23, 1994 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
He was born March 1, 1908 in Momence, a son of Victor and Anna Brassard.
Surviving are his wife, the former Genevieve Zimmerle; one stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Dennis and Josephine Mueller of Aroma Park; a stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Jacqueline and Leo Devine of Kankakee; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a niece, Jacqueline Bechtold of Park Ridge.
His first wife, the former Gladys Grobe, his parents and one brother and one sister are deceased.
Mr. Brassard was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.
He was a retired farmer.
