Charlotte began work as a medical secretary at the Valley Forge Army Hospital, followed by 31 years of employment as a secretary in the Owen J Roberts School District, a job that she loved. She was a member of the Kimberton Grange and Phoenixville Senior Center.
Charlotte and Lloyd had two children.
"Nana", as she was lovingly referred to by family and friends, lived, in her words, a very happy life. She had fond memories of vacations, summers in Sea Isle City NJ, shopping excursions, swimming at the YMCA and spending time together as a family.
