Funeral services for Nathan T. LaJoy, age 20, of Ford Street, Ogdensburg, will be held 9:30 a.m. at Frary Funeral Home on Thursday, August 27, 2009 with Rev. Michael Logan officiating. Burial will be in Ogdensburgh Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mr. LaJoy passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday evening.
Mr. LaJoy is survived by his father, Thomas of Morris Folks, NY; his mother, Michelle Christian of Ogdensburg; two sisters, Katrina LaJoy of Ogdensburg and Danielle LaJoy of Lisbon; one half-sister, April Spearance of Canton; paternal grandfather, Thomas LaJoy, Sr. of Ogdensburg; maternal grandmother, Mary Cameron of Ogdensburg; maternal grandfather, Henry Christian of Rochester; aunts and uncles and cousins.
Mr. LaJoy was born in Ogdensburg on December 19, 1988 the son of Thomas and Michelle Christian LaJoy. He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy. He worked for ANR in the maintenance department. In high school, Nathan was a wrestler and played baseball and basketball. He enjoyed fishing and drawing.
