atricia Ruth "Pat" Cruse, 79, of Mansfield, died Monday, December 29, 2008, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born March 25, 1929, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Joseph Paul Zartman, Sr. and Hazel Neé Best Zartman. Pat graduated from Mansfield Senior High School and was an area homemaker her entire life.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel Barb Cruse of Mansfield and Michael Stacie Cruse of Mt. Vernon; a daughter, Cindy Cruse of Mansfield; eleven grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin, Brianne, Angie, Tammy, Chris, Kenneth, Rachel, Sonnie, Jonathan and Amanda; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Ernest Carole Zartman of Mansfield; a sister, Penny Ron Zartman-Winters of CA; two sisters-in-law, Marla Zartman of Ft. Wayne, IN and Vivian Zartman of Mansfield; numerous nieces and nephews; and good family friends, Phil and Sue Bigelow of Shelby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert R. Cruse in 1995; parents; and two brothers, Joseph Paul Zartman, Jr. and Norman Zartman.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, January 2, 2009, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Tim Storms officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
