She was born December 10, 1927 in Wanatah the daughter of George & Lillian (Kalwitz) Denby and attended Wanatah High School.
She had worked in the golf ball factory in Crown Point for several years before taking employment at the Crown Point K-Mart from 1974 until her retirement in 1989.
Survivors include her 2 sisters and 1 brother: Edna Fryar of Valparaiso, Dorothy Smith of Delaware, Ken (Nancy) Denby of Valparaiso and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, LaDonna Loetz.
A funeral service will be held Friday 1:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso with burial to follow at Hanna Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11AM – 1PM. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital
