Doris Ann Gilgenbach, age 65, resident of Brainerd, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, at the St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.

Doris was born on July 14, 1943, in Harding, Minn., to Rudolph and Gertrude (Voss) Bescheinen. She attended school in Brainerd.

Doris married Matt Gilgenbach in June 1983 in Brainerd. She had worked for Honeywell and also had a karaoke business in the Brainerd area for the past 14 years.

Survivors include her husband, Matt; two daughters, Lisa and Mindy; one son, William; three brothers, Howard (Ruth) Bescheinen, Ronald (Gloria) Bescheinen, and James (Roz) Bescheinen; and a nephew, John Bescheinen.

Preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Daniel Bescheinen.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8, at the First Presbyterian Church in Brainerd with Rev. Harold Tongen officiating. Burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
