MONTICELLO - Services were held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock In the Arm Baptist church for Edgar Jackson, 41, of the Arm community near Monticello, who died from a sudden heart attack In the Veteran's Hospital in Jackson Monday night. He had been in the hospital seventeen days and was planning to come home when his unexpected death occurred.

Military rites were held at the graveside with service men from Keesler Air Force Base at Biloxi participating.

Mr. Jackson was buried in the Arm cemetery.

He leaves two daughters: Mrs. Hollis Lambert, Jr., Silver Creek; Mrs. Roy Grantham, Harrisville; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Jackson, Arm; two sisters: Mrs. Joe Letchworth, Gary, Ind. Mrs. Gerald Broome, Silver Creek; four brothers: Bill Jackson and Enos Jackson, both of Monticello; Harold Jackson, Silver Creek, and Shelton Jackson, Hillside, Md.
