Eagle Creek resident Albion O. Olsen, 95, died of leukemia Monday, Aug. 3, in Portland.
A celebration of his life and picnic will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Philip Foster Farm, 29912 S.E. Highway 211, Eagle Creek. Interment was at Wilhelm's Portland Memorial Funeral Home and Mausoleum.
Albion was born March 27, 1914, in Oregon to Ole and Andrea Olsen. He was raised in Portland and Boring and graduated from Gresham High School.
On March 28, 1937, he married BERNA YOUNG.
Albion worked as a water well driller.
He was preceded in death by his wife on July 19, 2007; by his brother, Oscar Olsen; and by his sister, Clara Olsen.
Survivors include his daughters, Alberna Lanz of Oregon City and Adele Pulliam of Happy Valley; son, Loren Olsen of Eagle Creek; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
