MRS. BELLE M. BRENT, 41, SUCCUMBS TO PNEUMONIA
Mrs. Belle Mattingly Brent, age 41, wife of Robert Brent of near Bardstown, succumbed to pneumonia this morning [April 30, 1936] at 12:30 at her home following an illness of two weeks. Besides her husband she leaves her parents, Mr. & Mrs. William Mattingly; four sisters, Mrs. Pete Saunders (Sanders), Shelbyville; Mrs. Lula Peters, Louisville; Mrs. James Zoeller Downs, Bardstown; Miss Eliza Mattingly, Pennsylvania; three brothers, William, Albert & Robert Mattingly, all of Bardstown. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at nine o'clock at St. Joseph Church, the pastor, Rev. W.D. Pike, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery
