Obituary - Orlanda Flesher.

Orlando Flesher was born in McLain County, Illinois, February 7, 1845 and departed from this life on April 5, 1923 at his home in Jamestown, Kansas at the age of 78 years, 1 month and 28 days. He was married to Hannah Elizabeth Beasley at Knoxville, Marion county, Iowa in 1872. To this union one son was born, who survives.

Mr. and Mrs. Flesher came to Kansas shortly after their marriage and located northwest of Jamestown and for the past eighteen years have resided in Jamestown.

The deceased is survived by his wife, one son, William Henry Flesher of Jamestown, four brothers, J.H. Flesher of Jamestown, Alfred Flesher, of St. Charles, South Dakota, Andrew Flesher, of Liberty Center, Iowa, Harrison Flesher, of Jay, Iowa, and five grandchildren.

Mr. Flesher joined the Presbyterian church at Knoxville, Iowa and still retained his membership with that church at the time of his death.

Funeral services were held at the home, Saturday afternoon April 7 at 2 p.m. Rev. U.S. Chandler in charge. Interment was made in the Jamestown cemetery.
