Obituary ~ Harry A. Pletcher, 52, of Cloquet and formerly of Bruno, passed away at the Cloquet Memorial Hospital Friday, May 7. Mr. Pletcher was born in Howard County, Iowa on July 18, 1912, the son of Charles A. Pletcher and Blanche Turner. In 1915 he moved with his family to the Bruno community. On April 21, 1934, he was married to Vivian Pearson at Bruno and they resided on their farm west of Bruno until 1948, when they moved to Cloquet where he was employed at a paper mill. His survivors include his wife, Vivian, two brothers, Clare of Bruno and Gale of Askov, and two sisters, Grace (Mrs. J.H.) Sauber of Minneapolis and Verda (Mrs. Lloyd) Bates of Bruno. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church at Bruno on Tuesday, May 11, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Richard Deursen officiating. Mrs. Raymond Storebo rendered the music. The casket bearers were Roger, Ronald and Gerald Pletcher and Avery, Gene and Larry Bates. Burial was at Vilstad Cemetery with the Larson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
