Alejandro "Alex" Alvarez, 25, passed away Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009. He is survived by his loving parents, Sandra Raudry and Robert Alvarez; his maternal grandparents, Velia Martinez and Guillermo Raudry; his paternal grandparents, Enriqueta and Miguel Alvarez; his God parents William Raudry and Lois Benetiz; 8 aunts, 5 uncles, 21 cousins, his loving and devoted pets Lucy and Charlie, and his many friends. Alex is preceded in death by his uncles Mick Alvarez and Gary Alvarez. Alex's love of life, passion for music, big heart, and infectious smile will be missed dearly by all whose hearts he touched. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm -8:00 pm, Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Homes, 480 N. Resler with a Vigil at 6:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 at St. Pius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery, Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
