T. Bernard Latier, 66 of 640 1/2 Main St., died in Coshocton County Memorial Hospital at 4 p.m. Saturday. He was admitted to the hospital earlier that day.
Born Sept. 25, 1909 in Coshocton County, he was the son of Newton and Stella Swigert Rager Latier.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Shirley) Milligan, Jr. of Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. Robert B. (Kaye) Glazier of Rittman; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two half-sisters. Mrs. Charles Van Dusen and Mrs. Carl Neiss of Coshocton; and one half-brother, Jack Rager of Coshocton.
Latier was a former horse trainer, well-known throughout Ohio, and was a member of the Ohio Harness Association.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Larry Bolinger, pastor of the Brethren Church, Smithville. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday until time of services.
