Mrs. Goss was born December 22, 1892 to Mr. and Mrs. Albert Thurston at Joplin, Missouri. She was married to J.A. Goss in 1921 at Montrose. Mrs. Goss was a member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jehu Ambrose "Dade" Goss; four daughters, Mrs. June Holman of Brown's Valley, California; Thelma, Reba, and Rita Jean Goss of Fruita; one son, John of Fruita; and three brothers, Nye and Homer Thurston of Houghton, Kansas and Audre of Missouri.
The body is in the care of Starks Funeral Home in Fruita. Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Lee Goss will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. from the Fruita Methodist Church. Rev. W. T. Methvin will officiate, and interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
