Barbara L. Hunt - a resident of Mobile, AL., passed away September 2, 2009 at her home. She was a member of the Southside Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her father Robert P. Gordon and mother Ellen B. Gordon. She is survived by her son James Hunt, Jr. Her daughter, Deborah Thomas. Four grandchildren: Anetra Hunt-Beasley (Wilmer), Harriett Donald, Keith Donald and James Sewell. One great-grandchild: Keith Donald, Jr. Three sisters, two brothers and a host of other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state on Friday, September 11, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Small's Mortuary and Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Southside Church of Christ, 4108 Dauphin Island Parkway from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral hour.
