Joe Milton Barnett, 82, of Carthage, died Sunday, Sept. 6, at Leake Memorial Extended Care Facility.
Services were at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Joe Whittington and Bro. Randolph Scott officiating. Burial was in the Shockalo Cemetery. A Leake County native, he was a retired businessman.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Barnett and Jerry Barnett, both of Carthage; two sisters, Margie Nell Spears, Newton, and Faye McNeal, Memphis, TN; one grandchild; two step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
