DR. POWELL DIES SUDDENLY: Sunday afternoon the friends and relatives of Dr. Louis E. Powell were shocked to learn of his death, which occurred about 2 o'clock, from congestive chill.

Dr. Powell leaves a wife and young child, besides other relatives and friends, to mourn his death. He was interred in the Magnolia cemetery.

Louis, as he was familiarly known among his associates, was one of the most popular young physicians in the county and his untimely death threw a pall of sadness throughout the city, where he was best known and liked. He was a Mason and a member of the Presbyterian church.
