"Daughter of Everett & Gertrude (Young) Decker.
Ivie died suddenly while at work early Tuesday morning. She had been employed as an operator for the New England Telephone Co. since 1946.
Survivors include: her husband, Donald J of Dover-Foxcroft [charged and convicted with her murder], her mother, Mrs. Decker of Bangor; four sons, Francis E of California, Dennis G of Guilford, Albert G of Abbot, and Frederick B of Dover-Foxcroft; two daughters, Mrs. Angie M Chase and Miss Jennifer Brawn, both of Dover-Foxcroft; five brothers, Kenneth of Torrance, California, Merlin of Dover-Foxcroft, Murray of Waterville, Linwood of Bangor and 1st Sgt. Darry with the US Army in Vietnam; three sisters, Mrs. Omar Merrill and Mrs. Arthur Pratt, both of Dover-Foxcroft and Mrs. Byron Burrill of Atkinson; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Lary Funeral Home here by the Rev. Gordon Hemphill, pastor of the Methodist Church. Spring burial will be in the family lot in the Gray Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home."
