Albert Harold Anselmi, 81, died on September 12, 2009. He was the son of Anthony and Alice (Mazza) Anselmi. He married Marilyn Irene Lampkin on April 30, 1949. In partnership with his sister and brother-in-law, he owned and operated the Rolladium Skating Center in Waterford, Michigan for more than fifty years. He directed the Rolladium Skating Club and coached several National Champions some of whom when on to join the U.S. World Team. He also served as the World Team Coach. He was a past President of the Roller Skating Rink Operators Association in the early 1970s. He was one of several individuals responsible for the merger in 1972 of the two national roller skating associations which led to the formation of what would become USA Roller Sports, the National Governing Body for roller sports recognized by the US Olympic Committee. He was past President of the Museum of Roller Skating and a Life Member of the Society of Roller Skating Teachers of America. He and his wife were inducted into the Roller Skating Hall of Fame in 1990. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was survived by his wife of sixty years, four children, five grandchildren, and brother.
