Be Not Afraid I go before you always, Come follow me and I will give you rest. On Friday, June 4, 1999, our Father called our dearest, Lupe D. Pina home. Preceded in death by her father, Simon V. Pina, Sr. and brothers Roy & Frank Pina. Survived by her daughter, Stephanie; mother, Roberta D. Pina; family friends, Polly Tello & Rae Montalvo; brothers, Simon D. Pina, Jr. & wife Vina, Leo Pina, Tony Pina & wife Margaret; sisters, Annie Gonzales, Carmen Pina, Margaret Torres, & Emily Salazar; and an infinite number of nieces, nephews, & friends. Lupe was an employee of the United States Postal Service for over 33 years and a member of Doverside Baptist Church.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM, Sunday, June 6, 1999, at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 9:00 AM, Monday, June 7, 1999 at Brookside Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
