Hulda J. Lohr, 98, died at St. Joseph Hospital Aug. 19. She was born Feb. 14, 1890 in Eskridge, Kansas to Frank and Amy Harris Turnbull. When she was five, her family moved to Colorado. They were delayed for six weeks in Pueblo due to the flood of 1895. Hulda married Frank Lohr in 1918.
She belonged to the Twin Mountain Ladies Aid and the First Baptist Church. One of her greatest joys was sharing her garden and flowers with friends and neighbors.
Funeral services were held last Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church in Del Norte with Rev. Cal Kroeker officiating. Burial was in the Del Norte cemetery.
