The funeral for Joseph (Joe) Raley Junior, 57, of Johnson's Branch Road in Parksville will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev Don Drake. Burial will be in the Parksville Cemetery.
Joe died Saturday at his home after a long illness.
Born March 29, 1932, in Boyle County, he was a son of the late Thomas Clell Raley and Lucille Mae Baugh Raley Taylor. He was retired from Cudahy Packing Co in Harrodsburg and was a retired farmer. He was a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Marie Coffman Raley; his mother; May Lucille Raley; two daughters, Charlotte Irene McConaha (John) and Melissa Joe Raley, both of Parksville; one foster child, Mary Ellen Phillips of Louisville; three sisters, Delpha Tate of Perryville, Margie Dean of Farmersville, La, and Joyce Phillips of Harrodsburg; one brother, Bobby Raley of Mitchellsburg; and two grandsons John (J.J.) Joseph and Steven Thomas McConaha and 19 Nieces and Nephews Patricia Tate Chumbley, Harold Owen Tate Jr, Shirley Tate Hourigan, Nettie Lucille Tate Elliott, Susan Darlene Tate Shearer, Larry Clinton Tate Sr, Janice Sue Tate Roller, Michael Lynn Tate, James Thomas Tate, Charlotte Irene Raley McConaha,Melissa Jo Raley, Martha Kaye Tolman Letterman,Vera Tolman Walden, Jurd Dean Jr, Billy Joe Dean, Linda Joyce Phillips Pelley, Beverly Ann Phillips, Ruth Lucille Phillips, Robert Scott Raley
