Stevie Gene Raley was born on December 24, 1953 to Joseph Junior and Gladys Marie (Coffman) Raley. Stevie was a beautiful red headed baby boy that God did not want to give up. He called Stevie back home to him a short 36 hours later. Stevie Gene died on December 25, 1953. Had he lived he would have known two sisters Charlotte Irene and Melissa Joe that would have adored him. And I am sure he would have loved having his second nephew named Steven after him. I think he would have also liked the fact that his nephew Steven was born in December and red headed to boot.

Stevie Gene was originally buried at the Wilson Cemetery # 4 on Forkland Road, there was no room for my parents to be buried near him, so when my our Dad died we had Stevie moved and placed at Dad's feet. As my Dad wanted.
