Caroll S. Watkins, 69, entered into rest on Friday, August 14, 2009 after a long illness.

Visitation will be Monday, August 17, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, the reverend Andy Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc., 1850 Lake Park Drive Suite 101, Smyrna GA 30080.

Mrs. Watkins was born on January 28, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church and had worked at Robins Air Force Base as a secretary until her retirement. She was predeceased by her parents, Fred Edward Buhrts and Isabell Van Steenburgh Buhrts, brother, Jim Buhrts and niece, Marymargaret Young.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of forty-seven years, Bobby Joe Watkins, Bonaire; son, Tracy Watkins, Warner Robins; daughters, Yvonne Williams (Doug), Somerset, Ohio and Bernadine Wallace (Doug), Grove City, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Young (Ronald), Pataskala, Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews.
