Age 68, daughter of the late Paul and Cora Salter Storaci. Mrs. Horstman, who was a 1946 graduate of Academy High School, worked for Crawford County Common Pleas Court as a tipstaff and was a Crawford County auditor. She was a stage actress in Meadville and Erie, performing with the Meadville Community Theater, the Erie Playhouse, the Roadhouse Theatre and Directors Circle Theater. She directed many productions for Meadville Community Theater and Directors Circle. She was a member of the Siebenbuerger Singing Society for 40 years. She was a member of St. Matthew in the Woods Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Horstman was active in the Democratic Party in Meadville and Erie. She was a past president of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and enjoyed travel, Jaycee Wives and community projects.

She is survived by her husband, Herman Horstman; a daughter, Mary Ellen Gustafson of Scottsdale, Ariz., and her husband Gary; three sons, Robert P. Horstman and his wife Janice, and John F. Horstman, all of Erie, and James J. Horstman of Inverness, Fla., and his wife Diane; a sister, Eleanor Walsh of Arlington, Va., and her husband Thomas; a brother, Franklin Storaci of Dayton, Ohio, and his wife Dorothy; six grandchildren; two cousins; and several nieces and nephews.
