CALDWELL - Mrs. Alice (Murphy) CLEVELAND, 100, Madisonville, Tex. former resident of Sumner County, died on Sunday, Nov. 11.
She was born Aug 30, 1873 at Corbin, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Cleveland on April 26, 1907. She was a member of the Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Francis M. Cleveland, Madisonville, Texas, and Horace M. Cleveland, Corpus Christi, Texas; a brother, Jerie Murphy, Caldwell, Kansas.
Services were at 11 a.m. Monday at Madisonville, Texas. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the Corzine Cemetery near Corbin, Kansas. The Rev. Darrell Johnson, Christian Church, Caldwell will officiate. Shcaeffer-Thompson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
