Preceded in death by parents, Edward & Belle Wirth; wife, Marjorie; sisters, Alice Smith and Edna Uvodich; brother, Walter Wirth; sons, George W. and Jeffrey F. Wirth. Survived by sons, James T. (Nancy) Wirth, Steven E. (Kathy) Wirth; grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, Andrew, David, Lesley, Jennifer and Whitney; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Bennett; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was a founder of Hypro Pumps, Inc. in 1947. He retired in 1969. He lived a full and happy life and was particularly known for his limericks and his wonderful sense of humor, as well as his generosity. Those who knew Jim, knew him as a self-made man of impeccable honesty and high moral character. He will be deeply missed.
