Clara L. Neeser passed away Monday, Sept. 29, 2003, at Bethany Good Samaritan Village.

She was born March 25, 1928, in Brainerd to Fredrick and Betsy (Nesheim) Mogensen. She married Harold Neeser on May 18, 1948, in St. Mathias Township. She was a cook with 31 years at Kavanaugh's. She was a member of the Moose and St. Francis Church.

Survived by her husband, Harold; her sons, John of St. Paul, and Tom of Bemidji; her daughters, Cathy Montour of Brooklyn Park, Cindy Banker of Cottage Grove, and Marcy LaDouceur of Brainerd; her brother, Elmer of Orem, Utah; her sister, Marie Satchell of Hugo; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary and Liz, and one son, Peter.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Brainerd, with Father Seamus Walsh officiating. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church. Women of the Moose will have a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. There will be a prayer service on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements are with Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home, Brainerd.
