Charles Frank Long, of Houston, Texas, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at Kindred Hospital in Houston, at the age of 51.
He was born Nov. 17, 1957, in Memphis, Tenn., to the late Betty Sue Gibbs and Bob R. Long, of Braggadocio, Mo.

He was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and Ole Miss University, and a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.

He was a retired teacher and accountant, and a member of the Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Bethany Allison Coots and Mike Coots, of Houston; one sister, Carol Long Strider, of Oxford, Miss.; one brother, Richard Leslie Long, of Dallas, Texas.

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 at the Braggadocio Baptist Church in Braggadocio, Mo.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rosewood Funeral Home, Humble, Texas.
