Kenneth graduated from Lincoln High School in Des Moines. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1954 to 1957 and was proud that his father and brothers had served in the military. He enjoyed being called "Sarg" by everyone at the Care Center.
Kenneth was united in marriage to Ardys Ellen Cornell on October 6, 1956 in San Juan Capistrano, CA. They moved to Des Moines when he was discharged from the Marines and lived there until 1976 when they moved to Truro. Kenneth was a truck driver for Bulk Mail Center in Des Moines for 27 years.
Kenneth enjoyed raising Angus cattle and also was involved in raising dogs. He liked to play cards and was a regular visitor to Poths Feed Store in Osceola every Saturday. He was proud to be a descendant of the Sandoz family who were cattle ranchers.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Ardys; father, Ralph; mother, Wilma; and brother, Delbert.
He is survived by two brothers, Vincent of Des Moines and Albert (Wilma) of Clive; and several nieces and nephews.
