Death Of Mrs. P. H. Fleer
The news of Mrs. Fleer's death which occurred Tuesday forenoon, was as startling to the people of Potter as a peal of thunder from a clear sky. She had been confined since last Thursday, but was getting along nicely. The direct cause of her death was heart failure.
Mrs. Fleer, formerly Miss Sallie Highfill, was born near Potter, June 28, 1868. She was married to P. H. Fleer April 24, 1891. She leaves three children, Barney, Cecil and the little daughter born to her last week. Besides these and her husband her aged mother, four brothers and four sisters are left to mourn her loss.
Mrs. Fleer was a woman universally beloved and her death is mourned, not by her relatives alone, but by the entire community. She was buried at Fairview cemetery Wednesday afternoon. Rev. W. O. Troutman conducted the funeral service
