Opal W. (Cone) Hoaglund of Sunriver died Saturday of natural causes. She was 84.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sunriver Christian Fellowship/ Holy Trinity Church in Sunriver.

Mrs. Hoaglund was born April 30, 1917, in Arthur County, Neb., to Robert and LaVina Cone. She married Ernest Hoaglund on April 6, 1936.

She was a homemaker. She moved to Sunriver a year ago to be near her daughter.

Mrs. Hoaglund was affiliated with the Lectionary Bible Study Class and Brady United Methodist Church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #192.

Survivors include her son, John of Citrus Heights, Calif.; one daughter, Betty of Sunriver; two sisters, Dorothy Law of Arvada, Calif., and Irma Johnson of Gothenburg, Neb.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and four sisters.
