She was born May 13, 1923, to Frank and Blanche (Gasaway) Crump in Gilbert, Iowa. She graduated from high school.
Mrs. Emert worked at the Logan County Hospital until her retirement in 1985.
OnJuly2, 1955, she married Raymond A. Emert in Sterling.
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.
Mrs. Emert moved to Omaha six years ago.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Mowery of Omaha; brother, Donald Crump and wife Peggy; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Emert was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Emert in 2001; daughter, Donna I. Fidler; brother, Bob Stokka; sister, Ruth Elizzer; and parents, Frank Grump and Blanche Gasaway Grump Stokka.
