Wilmath Eleanor Tomlinson left this life Monday afternoon, December 23, 2002, at the Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center. Mrs. Tomlinson was 76 years old. She began life on April 7, 1926, in Stigler, Oklahoma, as the daughter of Clarence Peck and Mozelle Carolan Peck. She grew up in the Stigler area where she received her earlier education at Mt. Olive School later graduating from Stigler High School. She received her college education at Panhandle A&M at Goodwell, Oklahoma. Mrs. Tomlinson taught school at Satana, Kansas, and Copeland, Kansas. She worked as a librarian at Boise City, Oklahoma, Tuttle, Oklahoma, Noble, Oklahoma, Holdenville, Oklahoma, and at Nowata, Oklahoma, in 1972. She retired in 1988.

She met and was united in marriage with William O. "Bill" Tomlinson on February 28, 1948, in Copeland, Kansas. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Methodist Women, OEA, and OREA. Her family was important to her and she loved to cook and sew.

She is survived by her husband, Bill, of the home in Nowata, Oklahoma; by two sons, Dennis A. Tomlinson and his wife, Susan, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Dallas W. Tomlinson also of Tulsa, Oklahoma; by two brothers, Raymond Peck of Longview, Washington, and Lawrence Peck of Tomaha; by two sisters, Johnnie Schmidt of McPherson, Kansas, and Wanda Faye Duel of McCall, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by one sister, Dorotha.
