Mr. Tomlinson was born January 29, 1890, in Yukon, Oklahoma. He died Wednesday afternoon September 10, 1980, in Grady Memorial Hospital, Chickasha, Oklahoma. Mr. Tomlinson was a resident of Tuttle for the past 18 years. He moved to Oklahoma some 70 years ago.
He married Elsie Ruth Hostetter in Yukon on February 19, 1915. She preceded him in death in 1948. Mr. Tomlinson worked as a carpenter most of his life. He was a member of the Unitarian Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He is survived by four daughters, Leola Ring of Winfield, Kansas, Elsie Fern Plumlee of Tuttle, Emily Shay of Hominy, Oklahoma, and Etta Fay Howell of Alexandria, South Dakota; two sons, Leroy Tomlinson of Schenectady, New York, and Bill Tomlinson of Nowata, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Alton Williams of Perryton, Texas, and Ila Cline of Gruver, Texas; 26 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery of Tuttle under direction of Seviers Tuttle Funeral Home.
