The Mize native was a member of Fist Baptist Church of Pearl.

Survivors include daughters Betty Williamson of Pearl and Bonnie Nations of Brandon; brother Baxter Jones of Pearl; sister Stella Palmer of Jackson; seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren
