Amy lost her battle against brain cancer after first being diagnosed in 2001. She passed away at her home, surrounded loved ones.

A 1995 graduate of Newburyport High School, Amy was well known as the scorekeeper for High School basketball and baseball games coached by her Father, Paul Finn. She graduated from UMass, Lowell in 2007 with a B.A. and was given the "Human Spirit" Award by the Department Of Criminology.

I learned about Amy while I was in St. Mary's cemetery one day and met a very nice woman who told what an amazing person she was and what an inspiration she was to everyone who knew her. She always had a smile on her face, even though she was very sick. She is no doubt sadly missed by family and friends. I wish I was lucky enough to have known her myself.
