Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Ware Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lloyd W. Tuttle officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Elliott was born May 25, 1898 in Ross County to John and Effie Woods Elliott. In 1923, he married the former Clara Downing, who died Oct. 23, 1953.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Bonnie West; two sons, Jack and Neal; seven grandchildren; and one aunt, Mrs. Rosanna Woods.
He retired in 1965 as a roll finisher with the Mead Corporation, where he was employed for more than 35 years. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Pulp, Sulphite, and Paper Mill Workers Local 731.
