A. Virginia Bemiller, 77, of Boiling Springs, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009, in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born March 10, 1932, in Renovah, and was a daughter of the late George and Alice (Brown) Uhler. She was the widow of Gilbert B. Bemiller, who died Feb. 12, 1990.

Virginia was a 1949 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School and also graduated from nursing school in Philadelphia. She was a registered nurse. Virginia retired from the former AMP Inc. after 17 years of service as an occupational nurse.

She is survived by daughters; Lynn Sanderson of Seven Valleys, Terri Hopkins of Dillsburg and Hope Martin of Houston, MO, two sons; George D'Amico of Skagway, AK and Raymond D'Amico of Schertz, TX, one brother; George Uhler of Mechanicsburg, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, October 2, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Gale Gregor officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
