Age 56, son of the late Stanley and Dorothy Podalski Lata. Mr. Lata worked for Associated Clinical Laboratories as a purchasing agent.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Omniewski Lata, this past June 10.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary Quirk and her husband, Michael, and Robyn P. Lata, all of Erie; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Brittany and Blake Quirk and Joshua Lata; a brother, James Lata of Apopka, Fla., and his wife, Stephanie; and a sister, Mrs. John (Cynthia) Diehl of Corry.
