"Parson W. 'P.W.' Brown 1907 - 2000

Parson W. 'P.W.' Brown, of Willcox, died March 19, 2000 in Willcox, at the age of 92. He was born in Lingle, Wyo., on Dec. 9, 1907, to Richard and Lucrecia (Wilson) Brown.

Mr. Brown came to Arizona in 1935 and to Willcox in 1949. He was a farmer in the Stewart District and a member of the Farm Bureau. He had been a board member of the Cochise County Farm Association. He was also a member of the plumbers union Local #741. On March 26, 1928, in Ft. Collins, Colo., he married Georgia "Betty" Willey.

He is survived by his wife Georgia "Betty" of Willcox; daughters, Opal (Donald) Bemis of Willcox and Barbara (Charles) Golloher of Tucson. Also surviving is his sister, Mildred Barnes of Long Beach, Calif. and 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers and sisters.

Private family graveside services were held on March 21, 2000 at Sunset Cemetery in Willcox. Friends who wish may contribute to the Northern Cochise Nursing Home, 901 W. Rex Allen Dr., Willcox, Ariz. 85643 or Children's Center, 721 Gonzales Blvd., Huachuca City, Ariz. 85616.
