JANIE NEOMA HUNT LARSON, who is lovingly referred to as "Bubba" by her children, 92, died Thursday, March 25, 2004 at Baptist Memorial Hospital N MS. Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Water Valley, MS, with Reverend Ken Corley and Reverend Sam Hull officiating. Grandsons Brent Larson, Mark Larson, Don Larson, Keith Larson, Brian Ricketts, Greg Ricketts, and Nathanael Abernathy will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday evening from 6 to 8 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home.

The widow of Mr. James E. Larson, a retired owner of Larson's Big Star, she devoted her entire life to her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Water Valley, MS. She was the President of her Sunday School Class - Berean Class. Bubba was a former member of the Garden Club of Water Valley, Eastern Star, and Polly Rook Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Janie Ricketts of Memphis; three sons, James Larson and Bill Larson of Water Valley and Joe Larson of Oxford, MS; 10 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.
