Jason Furndell Mallette, 64, 13116 Old Fort Bayou Road, Vancleave, died Saturday, July 13, 1991 at his home. He was born Nov. 3, 1926, and had been a lifelong resident of Vancleave.
Mr. Mallette was a World War II Army Veteran, retired commercial truck driver and a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Vancleave.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Dawn Mallette; his father, George E. Mallette; his mother, Naomi Brown Mallette; two brothers, Saint Elmo Mallette and Marland H. 'Dubie' Mallette.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Goff Mallette, Vancleave; two daughters, Mrs. Wake [Ann] Inabinette, and Debbie Holden, both of Vancleave; two sons, Eugene Mallette, and Hal Mallette, both of Vancleave; three brothers, James K. 'Snooks' Mallette, George W. 'Scrap' Mallette, Thomas M. 'Tom' Mallette, all of Vancleave; one sister, Cynthia 'Sis' Faulk, Vancleave; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be tonight, July 15, from 6-9 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 16, at 10 a.m. at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Vancleave.
Interment will be in Vancleave RLDS Cemetery.
