Frank, 65, a longtime resident of Columbus, OH, passed away, unexpectedly, at home, in his sleep.
He was born in Milford Memorial Hospital in Milford, DE, a child of Benjamin T. "Tom" and Stella E. (nee Lewandowski) Wilson. He lived his first seventeen years in Seaford, Sussex Co., DE, except when away at school.
Frank was a retired Master Sergeant with the 121st U.S. Air Force, and later was a social worker active with such organizations as Friends of the Homeless and Veterans Affairs. He received his Bachelor of Science from Franklin University in Ohio.
Besides his father, Frank was preceded in death by infant daughter Mary Wilson and by daughter-in-law Robin Davis (wife of Kevin).
At time of passing he was survived by his wife of thirty-three years (wed 9 July 1976), Ellen Sue (nee Conkel) Wilson; children Laura M. Wilson Warden and Christopher "Chris" M. Wilson; stepchildren Greg Davis, Cathy Davis Holbrook, and Kevin Davis; grandchildren Jessica R., Jillian P., and Ryan B. T. Warden, Aaron Becker, Cynthia "Cyndi" N., Jordan E., Kelsey E., and Benjamin "Ben" E. Wilson, and Erika Davis; great-granddaughter Alexis M. Rinehart; mother Stella Wilson; sisters Agnes Kathleen Wilson-Sypniewski, Cynthia "Cindy" M. Kuerner, and Kathleen "Kathy" McLaurin; brothers Michael "Mike" J. David-Wilson and David P. Wilson; also several nieces and nephews.
Visitation and services took place at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 W. Waterloo St., in Canal Winchester, OH on September 21 and 22, with interment following at Lithopolis Cemetery in Lithopolis, OH.
