She was born in Phoenix, Arizona, was a graduate of George Mason University and received a graduate degree from University of Arizona. She enjoyed writing and photography.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merrill C. Windsor; and her son, David Falk Windsor.
She is survived by three children, Peggy, Wanda and Michael, nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Janice supported many important causes throughout her life and in lieu of flowers, would ask people to support their favorite charities.
