Sybil was born in Welty, OK to Sidney and Geneva Pendergraft. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Sylvia Novey and her husband James Sweeten. She is survived by her loving children Gene (Hazel) Sweeten of Susanville, CA, Geri (Ed) Hart of Curlew, WA, Vivian (Cliff) Mullins of Madera, CA, and Gary (Shirley) Sweeten of Ripon, CA, and by eight Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
Sybil lived in the Turlock community since 1945; She loved quilting, sewing, gardening, singing and spending time with family and friends.
Sybil was an active member of the Free Will Baptist Church for the past 60 years.
