William Leicester (Lee) "Tet" Price Boothe is the husband of Ocie Mae Salyer Boothe. See find a grave 42152289 for more information on Ocie. (NOTE: The Boothe's came from England and some wondered where Grandpa William's middle name came from. In researching our ancestry, I found that our ancestor, Sir William Boothe 1473-1519 died in Leicestershire, England.)

From that marriage, the following children were born: William Edward "Ed" (30001779), Charlie Hopkins, Odie, Gernie Alvin, John Robert "Bob", Margaret "Maggie" (32885763), Sallie Mae (42170020), Zelphia Adeline (30082238), and Corie.

William is the son of John Robert and Elizabeth Vaughan Boothe married Aug. 16, 1866 in Russell County. Records show they both lived in Floyd County at the time of their marriage. Elizabeth Vaughan's parents were Patten and Jane Vaughan. John R. Boothe was the son of Alfred and Lucretia Vaughan Boothe. Records indicate that John R. and Alfred Boothe were chairmakers. John brothers are: Elisha, Richard, Miles, and Alfred and Sisters are: Rhonda, Mary Jane, Susannah, Polly, Lucretia and Emma.

William's brothers are: Clinton Henry, John Marshall Payton Winfield. Sisters are: Alvertia Alice, Louisa, Nancy, Tabitha, Jinnie and Sally.

Some records indicate William was born in 1885, but records from my Dad, William's son -William Edward Boothe- show his actual birth date is February 4, 1883.
