KASPER, Betty Lou of Lancaster, Calif., died Sunday, September 13, 2009, in San Diego, Calif., due to Alzheimers. Born in Compton, Calif., on April 21, 1927, to Thad and Lillian Brown, Betty was a devout Christian and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She graduated from Franklin High School, in Los Angeles, Calif., in 1945, and married her high school sweetheart,
Irving Kasper, in 1947. Betty and Irving were married for over 50 years; Irving preceded her in death in 2003. Betty is profoundly missed, and survived, by her brother, Jim (Joanne) Brown, her 4 beloved children, Lynne; Bradley (Linda); Jeffrey (Elizabeth); and Gary (Laraine) Kasper; and by her grandchildren, Rachel (Alwyn) Cosgrove; Heather (Brent) Osborn; Adam Kasper; Jim (Teresa) Maricich; Holly Maricich; Joy (Caleb) Hill; and Grace Kasper; and by great-grandchildren, Corbin, Whitney, and Reese Maricich; Camryn and Finley Olson; and John and Marie Osborn; including numerous nieces and nephews. Bettys cremated remains will be interred alongside her husbands at Lancaster District Cemetery. A memorial Celebrating Bettys life is scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2009, at Westside Church of the Nazarene in Antelope Acres, Calif.
