Sergeant ROY M. MILLER, 28, of Hagerstown, member of the Machine Gun Troop, 3rd Cavalry, Fort Myer, Va., was fatally injured last night when an automobile in which he was riding overturned on Memorial Bridge at Washington, DC.
Miller was said to have been a crack exhibition rider and to have enlisted in the Army at the age of 19. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. The car, which overturned five times, according to witnesses, was demolished. Word of the accident was received by police here late last night and efforts were made to locate Miller's relatives.
